My Current Most-Read Articles are Quite Telling

The past few days, since the election, my view count has been unusually high. I’ve been getting a lot of clicks and views on my articles, but none of them were recent pieces as far as I could tell. Still, the trend persists today — I am on track for another 300+ day of article clicks.

Well, I got my weekly roundup of my most popular articles of the past week, and hoo boy it explains a lot. Let me show you:

The breakout leader of this unfortunate pack is “There’s No Hate like Christian Love,” with 232 clicks in the past week. It’s entirely unsurprising, and its upward trend started (fittingly) on Sunday the 3rd. You can guess what it’s about.

In a distant second with 79 clicks is “Basic Human Rights are Not an ‘Opinion’.” It’s about those individuals who believe that something that makes up a person’s fundamental identity — sexual orientation, gender identity, or any number of other things — are a matter of opinion and a point of rhetorical disagreement. Spoiler: they’re not, and I can and will end friendships over it.
