When I was a teenager, my grandmother took my family and me to France for two weeks over the summer. It was great for a wide variety of reasons, not the least of which because it’s friggin’ France, dude. I was incredibly lucky to be able to visit as a child, and I am incredibly glad that I was mature enough to appreciate it.
