Great piece!

As a guy who works in a field dominated by women (nonprofit), I honestly love it. I tend to feel more welcome and listened to here, and the sense is more cooperative than competitive. We're all in this together to achieve our goals, which are (broadly speaking) the betterment of humanity, and I like that.

It never ceases to amaze me the number of guys who are more than happy to pile on in the comments and do anything they can to degrade and discredit people who write honest articles about feminism. One of my recent articles had more comments than clappers at one point, which was largely driven by shitty dudes getting argumentative and aggressive in the comment section because I hurt their precious feelings.

I don't tend to read comments on my articles, but if you do, please ignore the jerks who feel the need to attack you. You are making good points and have laid out a strong argument, and I think that any guy who feels the need to spew bile in the comments section of any article about feminism (or about women in general) probably has nothing better to do anyway and isn't worth your time.
